Panagbenga Festival is a month-long annual flower festival in the “chameleon” city and summer capital of the Philippines, Baguio City. Panagbenga is a Kankana-ey (dialect widely used by Cordillerans in the Northern Philippine boondocks, specifically people from the Mountain Province and people from the Northern part of the Benguet Province) term that means "a season of blossoming, a time for flowering".
Panagbenga showcases Baguio City as a home of abounding flower depots and cultural traditions. This month-long festival held every February features flower festival related activities like the Bulaklak Rock Battle of the Bands, Kitefest, barangay beautification contest, the search for Mr. and Ms. Baguio Flower Festival and usually concludes on a weekend of grand floral parade and fireworks display.
