Balot or Balut, a boiled, fertilized egg of a duck, is an Asian delicacy popular in the Philippine streets. These incubated eggs, ages 16-20 days, cooked for less than 20 minutes, are typically sold at night by street vendors.

It is usually served with vinegar and salt, and sometimes with beer. It is believed by many as aphrodisiac food.
