- 1 kilo pork/chicken or combination (cut into pieces)
- 1-3 head of garlic
- ½ -1 sliced onion
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup vinegar
- 2 cups of water
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 3-5 laurel leaves
- 2 teaspoon cornstarch
- Cooking oil
- Salt/Seasoning and brown sugar
In a cooking pan, heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil then sauté the minced garlic and onions.
Add the pork/chicken to the pan. While stirring, add 2 cups of water, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, vinegar, laurel leaves and pepper. Cover the pan and wait for 15 minutes.
Separate the sauce and the pork/chicken. Boil the sauce and add the floor/cornstarch.
In another pan, heat 4-5 tablespoons of oil. Then fry the pork/chicken until turn brown.
Put back the pork/chicken to the sauce and cook it for another 15minutes.
Add salt/seasoning and sugar, and then bring to a boil/cook for another 5 minutes.
